Miami Heat and Portland Trail Blazers Earn Initial Wins After Player Arrests
Miami recorded 86 first-half points versus the Memphis Grizzlies
Miami Heat secured a crushing 146-114 win against the Memphis Grizzlies in their first NBA game since player Terry Rozier was detained for alleged unlawful gambling.
Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups was additionally arrested in connection with a broad FBI probe into sports betting. Both men deny the allegations.

League Commissioner Silver 'Upset' by Arrests
Speaking about the arrests for the initial occasion, league head Silver stated he was "deeply disturbed" by the events of the recent days.

"So, we've been working with them from that point. And, of course, what they revealed recently was an indictment.
"And 30 months after, he still hasn't been convicted of anything, in justice to Terry.
"Clearly, it doesn't look good, but he's been suspended, and so it is a compromise here between upholding rights and conducting an inquiry."
